The New Art of Dentistry is committed to helping patients navigate dental care during the COVID-19 pandemic. With regular updates from the American Dental Association and the Minnesota Board of Dentistry, we have worked hard to follow best practices put forward.
We are open and seeing patients for the following services:
We have resumed our full schedule with routine hygiene and treatment appointments with the doctors.
We are asking all patients to observe the State of Minnesota mandate to wear a mask or facial covering into the office for all appointments. In addition, if you or anyone from your household has been ill with cold or flu-like symptoms, or have been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, we ask that you reschedule your appointment to a later date. As precautionary screening during this time, we are having patients fill out a COVID-19 checklist and we will be taking every patient’s temperature.
Each employee has undergone additional training to follow CDC, ADA, and Minnesota Board of Dentistry Guidelines and for the next several weeks, each appointment is being lengthened to allow for additional cleaning and to ensure that all precautions are being followed.
This will include preventative services, like dental cleanings.
We understand that there is a backlog of appointments, people with previously scheduled treatment will be called in the order that it was previously scheduled. If something has changed, we will work to get you in.
